decent stay , but needs improvement

The location of the hotel is very convenient for exploring city attractions. I also appreciated the friendly staff at the restaurant downstairs as they made dining more enjoyable.

However, the overall experience did not live up to my expectations.

We really enjoyed the spacious one-bedroom suite with plenty of kitchen supplies for our family. The plant-based toiletries were a nice touch, and the AC worked perfectly. Everything was clean, just had to wipe down some dishes before use. I would definitely go back!

Modern hotel, clean hotel, conveniently located right in the center with easy access to excellent dining options and charming boutiques within walking distance.

Everything was as expected.

Stepping into common areas felt like entering a time warp-dark and dingy without much charm. The lobby's cramped layout becomes a problem when several guests try to check in simultaneously, leaving little room to maneuver. I pulled back the bedding in my room and noticed unsightly stains on the mattress, which definitely raised some red flags. After finding that, getting to the front desk was a hassle due to all the people checking in. Plus, the location has limited parking options, leading to unexpected out-of-pocket fees for alternatives, which stings a bit when you’re already paying for the room.

The suite offered a great size for conducting business, with separate areas for work and private space. Additionally, the location was convenient, allowing easy access to local attractions. However, there were significant downsides, the absence of complimentary breakfast felt disappointing given the room's cost, and the amenities were lacking, with no pool available. The dirty sheets upon arrival were particularly troubling, highlighting a serious cleanliness issue that overshadowed the few positives of my stay.

parking was really limited

My stay at Embassy Hotel & Suites was excellent. The King suite was spacious and well-appointed, perfect for a business trip. The location was ideal, as it was close to numerous restaurants and attractions like Parliament Hill and the Rideau Canal, making it convenient to explore the area without needing my car for five days.

Parking was not available on-site.

I had a fantastic time in my spacious Executive King Suite with a full kitchen, and I really appreciated the quiet atmosphere for a good night's sleep. The sauna and the steam room were perfect for winding down after a long day, which made my stay even more enjoyable. Although the parking area is a bit challenging to access, it didn't take away from the comfort I found here. 😊

Consider requesting a higher floor room for a quieter stay away from street noise. the views are lovely too.
